It has been a while since I have been able to post a great news update.

I talked to my UCLA oncologist yesterday, and the Thyroglobulin, “goblins” are behaving themselves. In December they were extremely high 1502. Tuesday my numbers came in at 446, Reminder normal is zero.

I did radiation January 2023 right before I left to go to Mexico. My doctor said whatever I’m doing keep doing it. As you all know the chemo and medication regimen that Mexico has me on has been very hard I have felt nauseous and very tired. I have been praying about it and asking God to please show me if I should go back to Mexico.

My plan when talking to my Dr. at UCLA was to go ahead and start the regiment that Western medicine wanted to do and not go back to Mexico. The treatment is tiresome and hard on me, and financially, it is taking a toll on Trevor and I. When I found out my thyroglobulin had dropped. She said there is no reason to start that treatment yet and keep doing Mexico if I can. 

Backstory…she originally said going to Mexico was very unethical but she will support my decisions and monitor my blood work for the chemo.

Of course we do not know if it is the radiation treatment or the Mexico treatment but yesterday I was told that she supports it and wants me to keep going if I can.

So with that said in July I will be going back to Mexico at a cost of $17,000.  I feel like I got a pretty clear answer from God to keep going.

Prayers for strength to keep taking these pills every day. Prayers my body gets used to them and the fatigue and nausea goes away.
