I thought it was time for an update. I did my blood work about 1 month ago and unfortunately my numbers have gone up over 100 points. I have a doctors appointment on November 17th, 2023 to see when they will order a PET scan to see if we can see if there is growth somewhere.

As most of you know, I have turned my ranch into a 501(c)3. We had a fall farm festival fundraiser to raise money for me to be able to go back to Mexico to continue my treatment. It was amazing! We had over 200 people come through our gate and raised $3500 after expenses! We are going to have a Christmas festival December 9-10, 2023 to attempt to raise additional funds so I can go to Mexico the end of January 2024. This trip will require me to have another $19,000.

I am very tired and trying to keep my spirits up. I know God has provided for me to be able to continue these treatments. I ask for prayers to have the strength to continue the fight.  The chemo treatments in between going to Mexico has been a little rougher on me this time.  I struggle to find the energy to get out of bed. I know I have to keep pushing forward and I want to do that, but it’s just hard on the chemo.

I continue to be blessed by the generous donations that I received a year ago, including the blessing of a special individual that sent me to Mexico three times at a cost of over $67,000 for my treatments. Please join me in prayer that my PET scan is good and my numbers are only up temporarily. Prayers would be appreciated for strength to be able to push through running this ranch and our Christmas festival to raise money for my next treatment. Also prayer that Wild Wind Ranch becomes so big that I can pay it forward and send others with cancer to Mexico for treatments.
