Christy had a better night last night (Tuesday). One week after surgery. Airline & hotel reservations are made for MD Anderson. Trevor & Christy will spend the week of December 19 – 23 in Houston at the Cancer hospital having tests.

Day 6 after Surgery
Such an improvement every day! What a trooper my daughter is. Walking as much as she can. Medical wise also, she is doing well. I would not be surprised if Christy gets to go home tomorrow or Tuesday. Thank you for continued prayers! Donna Cox

Christy spoke to the surgeon and found out that they removed a total of 27 lymph nodes. Some were up to the size of a golf ball. They also plan to take out one of the chest tubes today, which means that she is one step closing to going home. […]

We just received an update from the OR. The surgery is continuing as planned and Christy is doing well. No new information on when she will be out. Thank you for your continued prayers!
