Update on my summer

Thank you so much for all of your prayers!

I have had a amazing summer. The family and I have been able to do many things together, times like this I cherish. I have been able to spend a lot of time riding my horse with friends. I feel extremely blessed that I was able to make memories like this.

Our insurance kicked in through CVS on September 1st. This was a big relief as I was able to take my three-month blood test where they check my TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) and TG (Thyroglobulin, cancer makers) levels. Back in January they were at 596. In May they where 19. Now, as of September, they are at 9. Normal levels would be zero. The fact that my numbers continue to decrease is very encouraging. I have to admit it was stressful knowing this test was coming and waiting for the results. I know God is in control but sometimes it’s hard.

My doctor ordered new scans last month (September). The purpose of the scan is to confirm the results of the blood test. He is happy with how things are progressing. However, we will continue to check news scans every 6 months. The report from the doctor is that I will never be cancer free. We continue to pray that my numbers continue to improve. Through this I know more than anything that God is a miracle worker.

Trevor is grateful to be back at CVS. There is still lifting involved but nothing like there was at Big Lots. Having worked at CVS in the past, it is nice to be with people he knows. The back pain still comes and goes.

Prayer requests:
1. CT scan confirms my blood levels.
2. My numbers will continue to improve and that God will fully heal me.
2. The pain in Trevor’s back subsides.
2. To continue trusting Lord and knowing that He is taking care of this.
