Corrie and I got to Playas de Tijuana at about 1:30 PM on June 26. They started IV treatments immediately here at the new facility. The doctor wanted me to spend the next day resting so we enjoyed our ocean view and Netflix. On June 28, I started treatments at 1:30 PM and left the facility at about five. The following day, I started treatments at 9 AM and left around 11:30 AM. We then had a day to walk the beach.
On June 30th, the doctor is sent someone to our Airbnb for my IV treatments, which was a nice change of pace. Corrie and I then headed home.
I’ve been very exhausted at the end of each day and was in bed by 7:30 PM. I am sleeping in until almost 9 AM which is unheard of for me. I have had quite a headache and I am very tired, apparently this is a normal part of detoxing.
As part of my first day of treatments, the doctor laid out the plan for the next six months. I am realizing this is going to be a whole new life change. I will be traveling back-and-forth once a month to this facility in Mexico, and doing IV treatments at home in between those trips.
The doctor has me on a very strict diet, which is going to be challenging.
Please pray for strength to follow this new diet and to keep up with the treatments as well as finances to pay for treatments. The cost for this go-around will be $15,500.
