I just left my post-op appointment with the surgeon. The pathology report shows that extracted lymph nodes were positive for undifferentiated insular thyroid cancer. They said it was isolated to that one spot and all the tissue and muscle around it tested negative. This is a very good thing, most likely this is the culprit that was causing my numbers to be so high.

They took off bandage and the incisions is healing well. I am in AWE of God, the surgery was supposed to be so much worse. I am truly blessed by prayer and emotional support!

Next step is to see my endocrinologist on September 15th. In the meantime, new blood work will be tested in the next couple of weeks.
