On January 29th I saw my Endocrinologist at UCLA.  He expressed his concerns. Based on the most recent scans, he feels there are more infected lymph nodes in my neck.  On Monday, February 4th I was supposed to have a biopsy on the lymph node they found under my clavicle. I got a call Monday morning from Radiologist stating the mass they found was just a muscle.  Radiologist says after comparing all the scans it appears the infected lymph node is in my medium sternum.  I do not know what this means. My Surgeon at Loma Linda is ordering a PET scan hoping to pinpoint it exactly.  As of now this scan is scheduled for Wednesday the 13th.  I am very discouraged, I feel like we are back to square one.  I feel like surgeon is at a loss also, we just cannot seem to pinpoint this infection.  I have so many fears right now.  This is a fast-growing cancer and if they do not find it soon it could spread.  Another fear is if it is in my medium sternum there is a chance they may have to crack my chest again.  I do not want to go through that again, I will,  but I do not want to!
