Update for 11/18/19

It has been 7 weeks since my surgery. Two weeks after surgery I went for my post op appointment.  The surgeon told me there was only one small infected lymph node under my collar bone that he found and removed.  He looked around the entire side of my left neck, as far as he could reach in my chest and a little bit on my right side.  We talked about checking the thyroglobulin “goblin“ levels to see if this was the spot that was causing my levels to climb. He suggested I wait another two weeks.  I was not in a good place emotionally when I found out it went from 106 to 128 after surgery.   I made a doctor’s appointment immediately to see my Endocrinologist at UCLA who told me all we can do is wait at this point.

As of now we are waiting  until December to take my blood again and go from there.  I feel great physically, sore a little, but recovery was way easier than last time.  Please pray for me to be able to keep my spirits up.  This emotional roller coaster is taking a toll on me.
