Hello everyone, I thought it was time for a update. I am getting very frustrated, I have put multiple calls into the doctor and he has not called me back regarding the 24 hour urine test to check and see my iodine levels.

My insurance rolls over in February which means I will be paying my co-payments again. I would really like to get this iodine treatment before then. But at this point I do not see that happening. I still have medical bills from my first surgery before my deductible was met. In addition I really want to get this radioactive iodine pill in my system. My brain keeps telling me the longer it takes the more stuff grows, which scares and depresses me. I know everything is in God’s timing. I just have to keep telling myself that.

As far as the pain goes it is minimal. My chest on the left side is still very sore. It is hard because I’m feeling better but I tend to overdo it. No surprise there right? Also my left shoulder blade and back hurt from the way they strapped me down when they cracked my chest.

Trevor must go back to work on Sunday, it is going to be hard on both of us, I have gotten so used to having him around. Also he is not looking forward to going back to work for a couple reasons. 1. His back is still painful and he is required to left heavy items for his work. 2. Leaving me when I may need be going through treatments and having to drive back and forth to LA for my Doctor appointments. 3. They treat him so badly at work.

Prayer requests:

• Trevor’s boos will respect and appreciate him. Especially after taking time off to be my caregiver.
• Strength for me to be patient on the low-iodine diet which I have been on two-weeks already.
• That my Doctor calls today and we are able to schedule the iodine treatment right away.
• Side effects are minimal and the 48 hour isolation goes by quickly.
