Good morning. During my isolation time I did drink lots of water. Thank God I had no side effects. I was freed from my room on Monday! I was so excited after being confined to my room for 5 days. Cody and I ran around to Costco then Trevor, Cody, Jessica and I went to a nice dinner. It was nice to be out.

I have now had my full body scan, 45 min of laying still.

This coming Tuesday afternoon I have an appointment with my doctor to get the results of the full body scan. The results of the scan will be used as a baseline for future treatments. The scan will show the areas that absorbed the iodine and are radioactive. The doctor is already aware of one spot in my neck that has an infected lymph node. So we pray that one is lit up. The scan will only show the spots that absorb the radiation. These lite up spots reveal infected lymph nodes. At this time it will be 3 to 4 months before any additional treatment could be done. The radiation works for up to two months and during that time the lymph nodes that are being treated. More waiting!

Prayer requests at this time
-that all infected lymph nodes absorbed the iodine and are now radioactive
-Trevor’s back it is still acting up but has to continue to work since his extended disability is all used up.
-that I continue to feel good as I am still sore from surgery. I am going to need to go to physical therapy due to my left shoulder is very stiff and has limited mobility.
