The Doctor called!!! I see the Nuclear medicine Doctor on January 25th. After I see her she will schedule a date for the iodine treatment. The treatment will consist of; Monday and Tuesday I will get an injection of thyroid-goblin, Wednesday I will get the a Radio Active Iodine (RAI) scan. Then the radio active pill will be administered on Thursday. I will then need to be in isolation in the hospital for 2 days! They will send me home when my levels are safe enough.  I will be isolated in my room for 5 to 7 days.  No one will be able to come within 6 feet of me. I have been on a low-iodine diet for three weeks today with at least another week before the above mentioned “treatment”. The diet is very hard. I am looking forward to being able to eat again. First meal, PIZZA!

Trevor went back to work on Sunday, he is “hanging in there”. It’s weird not having him here at home everyday while he is at work.

Trevor is waiting for calls from the Neurologist to see what they want to do about his back.

Prayer requests

• – That the Insurance approves the thyroid-goblin right away.
• – That the doctors can schedule treatment directly after the 25th.
• – That Trevor has peace while away from me (I will be in Los Angeles with my Mom nearby).
• – That the cancer responds to the radioactive iodine!
