Christy and Trevor are off to Houston! 1

Christy and Trevor fly out tomorrow from LAX at 10:59 AM. They will land in Houston at 4:15 PM.  An anonymous donor blessed Christy and Trevor by upgrading them to First class (thank you, Lord). This will make traveling easier for Christy since she is still recovering from her surgery.
Close personal family friends will be picking them up from the airport in Houston and taking them to the Residence Inn.  They will have a full kitchen and a complementary shuttle to take them back-and-forth to MD Anderson and to grocery stores nearby.
Christy had a fear that her medical records would not get to M.D. Anderson in time. She received a call today 12-16-16 and they have all the medical records from Loma Linda.
Christy’s first appointment will be Monday morning December 19 with a specialist in Endocrinology. This doctor will be letting her know what her week will look like and what action will need to take place. She then has a full day of appointments: lab work, scans and two additional doctors. At this point Tuesday she has only a ultrasound scheduled.
Christy and Trevor have a homeward flight scheduled on Friday, December 23rd.  If they do not need to schedule any more appointments, they will try to get a earlier flight home.
Prayer requests
– M.D. Anderson will be able to come up with a answer for treatment and Christy will not have to go back for follow up appointments.
– If appointments are only Monday and Tuesday they can change the flight to come home earlier with no extra charges.
– Christy is praying for a SCAN that does not require contrast.  A scan of some sort is necessary so they can verify that all lymph nodes that were infected are gone and none have began to grow again.
I will continue to try to post updates while Christy is in Texas, as soon as she can get me updates.
Merry Christmas!

Trust you are safely there. I have been praying your travel will be like resting in a cloud. That the Lord will soften every “bump” along the way and grant you strength as you proceed with appointments”. I pray every detail of your time there is ordered of the Lord… who to see, when, getting you in easily… and for the miraculous, creative understanding of what to do for you. I also pray for great communication between doctors and others who assist your evaluations. … and more. Love, courage, blessings, Sharon
